Choisir un voyage axé nature et paysages au Costa Rica, c'est accepter de passer chaque jour d'un écosystème à un autre. Ce petit pays d'Amérique centrale, à peine plus grand que la Suisse, concentre 5% de la biodiversité mondiale sur 0,03% des terres émergées. Forêts de nuages, volcans en activité, mangroves, plages bordées de jungle : les contrastes se vivent en quelques heures de route.

Nos circuits relient les grands décors naturels du pays selon un fil logique, sans surcharge. Côté volcans, l'Arenal dresse son cône presque parfait au-dessus de La Fortuna, tandis que le Poás et l'Irazú dominent la vallée centrale et ses plantations de café. Plus haut, la forêt de nuages de Monteverde baigne dans une brume permanente entre 1200 et 1800 mètres d'altitude : ponts suspendus, quetzals, mousses ruisselantes.

Selon la saison et vos envies, notre équipe sur place oriente l'itinéraire vers l'une des grandes régions naturelles :

  • La péninsule d'Osa et le parc Corcovado, dernier grand bloc de forêt tropicale primaire du Pacifique, refuge des tapirs et des aras rouges.
  • Le Guanacaste et ses plages dorées, entre forêt sèche tropicale et spots de surf comme Tamarindo ou Santa Teresa.
  • La côte Caraïbe de Tortuguero, accessible en bateau, où les tortues vertes pondent de juillet à octobre.
  • Le parc Manuel Antonio, plus compact, idéal pour observer paresseux et singes capucins en bord de mer.
